Radio Lillooet is a community-based station run out of the back of the music room in Lillooet Secondary school. The station's first broadcast was in April 2000. When CHLS was in the making the goal was to provide public service and community access with a notion to help students learn. The station is still providing all three services. Students are are learning communication skill, Public Service Announcements (PSA) are read daily and community access programming is ongoing
