Madeline Taylor


Madeline Taylor is a radio producer from Vancouver, British Columbia, with a passion for social commentary. She has worked in Campus/Community radio since 2013, and is the current Programming Director at CiTR 101.9FM. In the past she volunteered as the secretary of the Board of Directors for CJSF 90.1FM, Women’s Collective Coordinator at CJSF 90.1FM, and worked as Spoken Word Coordinator at CiTR101.9FM. Her documentary production work earned an honourable mention at the NCRC Radio Awards, and she has done freelance production work for ABC, the BBC, and various community radio initiatives. She teaches workshops on narrative nonfiction audio storytelling, podcast production, interviewing and more, and her FemCon + LGBTQ music radio show and podcast ‘Shoes On a Wire’ airs on CiTR at 4pm on Thursdays. Madeline is active in the Queer community in Vancouver where she has done harm reduction work. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with Honours in History, focusing on the Oral History of women in Vancouver’s early punk movement. Madeline lives and works on unceded Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-waututh territory in Vancouver.
