NCRA/ANREC is Hiring – January 11th Deadline

Hello Members,

We’re pleased to share that NCRA/ANREC is hiring for two new staff roles that will support learning, capacity-building, and journalism across the campus, community, and Indigenous radio sector.

These positions are part of our ongoing work to strengthen training, professional development, and editorial support for members, and to advance priorities identified through member feedback and sector planning.

Currently Open Positions

1. National Support Editor (2 positions)
These roles provide editorial guidance, mentorship, and professional support to journalists and media organizations participating in the Local Journalism Initiative (LJI). The positions are advisory and capacity-building in nature and respect the editorial independence of participating stations and outlets.

2. Learning and Development Coordinator
This role supports the early implementation of NCRA/ANREC’s Strategic Learning and Development Plan (SLDP) by helping coordinate learning systems, organize resources, support pilot initiatives, and integrate education into national events and programs.

-Positions are remote, based anywhere in Canada
-Contracts begin February 1, 2026
